Why I'm always motivated to write

The other day, a friend asked me a simple question: ‘How are you always so motivated to write?’ It made me pause. I’d never really stopped to think about it—but the answer goes back to my childhood.

Not many people know this, but I've actually been interested in literature since I was a child-since grade 4/standard 4. The story I was working on was a what-if scenario of someone being transported into the world of Minecraft, but the twist was that creepypasta characters such as Herobrine and Entity 303 were involved and were actively trying to kill them.

Not much came out of it, and I ended up quitting halfway. But that wouldn’t be the end of my writing journey.

Three years later, when I was 13, I started working on Kingdom Hearts fan fiction and short stories. I ended up making an entire series out of it.

After that, I started my first true fantasy novel called Not Your Typical Fairy Tale.

The first volume ended up being 168 pages long. I was pretty proud of it. After that, I started writing different books, such as romance, slice-of-life, and so on.

Around a year or so later, I started my Disciple of the Gods series, which spanned a bunch of experimental fantasy stories where I tried my hand at various genres and plots, then I started a series about characters being summoned to another world by a church to fight against the demons, then I rewrote that book into a more action-oriented, overpowered fantasy, and rewrote it a second time with a different protagonist. All of these stories were finished.

Before I rewrote it a third time, I wrote a book about people born with supernatural abilities and an entity who was created to judge whether humanity was worth saving. It ended up being 308 pages long. I'm not too proud of this one though-

Currently, I'm working on a rewrite of the story above ^^^ but with a different protagonist, different scenarios, and a much more refined plot.

I guess if I were to be asked why I always have the motivation to write, my answer would be because of my undying love of fantasy fiction. I can never get enough of it, and am always thinking of ways to improve my stories.

Not all of the books I've written are here, though. A lot of the old ones were written on paper.

Make sure to follow me and vote on my chapters though!
